Dame is one of the most respected players in the league today.

Lillard was born on July 15, 1990. He is from Oakland, California. Lillard was a standout talent in high school. Despite his talent being obvious, and his numbers being solid, Lillard did not receive a lot of attention from colleges. He would receive a scholarship to play for Weber State in Utah. He would shine for Weber State. Lillard would then enter the 2012 NBA Draft.

Lillard was drafted by the Portland Trailblazers with the 6 pick in the 2012 Draft. Dame has spent his entire career with the Western Conference franchise. He has put up huge numbers as a scorer and has had clutch moments in the regular season and post season. Lillard spending his whole career in Portland is rare in today’s game. Star players are often traded or relocate during free agency. But Dame has been incredibly loyal to the Portland franchise and its fanbase.
Future
As of summer 2023, there have been doubts whether or not Lillard will end his career in Portland. Lillard is currently 32 and has yet to have any major success in the playoffs with Portland. If Dame were to move on from Portland, hopefully he can land on a team that will help him earn a championship ring.
