NBA Star, Tyrese Maxey

Tyrese Maxey is one of the most dynamic guards in the league. He is an offensive force that can practically score anywhere on the court. Learn more about Tyrese Maxey below.

The Start

Tyrese Maxey was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 21st overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Maxey grew up in Texas and would play collegiate basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats. He would play only one year for the historic college basketball team. Maxey impressed in his solo season.

2023-24

The 2023-2024 season was a breakout one for Maxey. He would record career high numbers with averages of 25.9 points a game, 3.7 rebounds and 6.2 assists. He is a key piece of the 76ers team.

His partnership with Joel Embiid has helped the Sixers become a contender. During this 2024 offseason, the team landed Paul George. Adding a player the caliber of George should help Maxey take his game to the next level.

Opposing teams will find it hard to decide who to focus on. When Embiid, George, and Maxey will all be on the court together, it should be trouble for their opponents.
