Remembering The Life Of Angus Cloud

The entertainment world was shocked when Angus Cloud recently died at the age of 25. In his short life, he accomplished a lot and made a lasting impact on pop culture. Learn more about his short but impactful life below.

Euphoria

Angus Cloud made his mark on the entertainment world by portraying drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on the acclaimed HBO series, Euphoria. The series would propel him to other acting opportunities, including some well-known music video appearances. Cloud had completed a few film projects before his tragic death. Euphoria was his first major acting project and fans were taken by his immense talent.

Bay Area Native

The news of his passing was particularly emotional for the Shoe Palace team. Cloud was from Oakland, California, and was a proud Bay Area native. The Bay Area is obviously important to Shoe Palace, and losing someone so young and talented from our hometown is a tragedy. What made Cloud especially special is how he never lost his connection to his home city. Fans and friends talk about how despite his stardom, Cloud was still spotted often in Oakland. He never forgot where he was from. He would die at a family home in the Northern California city. Currently his death is still an active investigation. Angus Cloud had well documented issues with his mental health.

“As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways. Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”

Honoring The Young Star

Mental Health is something that is important, and it impacts us all. Many young people have died too early due to the illness. While Angus Cloud’s cause of death has not been determined, he did struggle with depression and addiction. The recent loss of his father was something that had to have impacted him emotionally. Hopefully the loss of such a talented person, far too soon, will be a reminder for all of us to take care of ourselves, and the ones we love.
