Bronny was born in Akron, Ohio. His parents are LeBron and Savannah James. He has two younger siblings.
Bronny would grow up with one of the most famous people on the planet, LeBron, as his parent. The game of basketball has always been a part of his life. His lifelong dream has been to play in the NBA and follow in his father’s footsteps.
Basketball
In high school, Bronny would show his basketball talent. He was an honor roll student at Sierra Canyon High School in Southern California.
He was also a star athlete. He was named a 2023 McDonald’s All-American and had a strong performance in the game. Bronny is a skilled guard that has a versatile offensive game and a strong defensive presence.
USC
Bronny would play a single season for USC. He would stay close to home as his family was based in LA, and his father plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Health issues made his time at USC a bit more difficult for him. However, when he did play, he impressed with his all-around game on the court.
Lakers
Bronny would enter the 2024 NBA Draft. He would be taken with the 55 overall pick in the draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. Bronny would now have the chance to play with his father on the Lakers during the 2024-2025 NBA season.
When the pair shared the court in the 2024-2025 season opener for the Lakers, they made history. It was the first time a father and son played in the league at the same time. It is an accomplishment that may never be duplicated.
Future
Bronny faces a lot of pressure being the son of LeBron. He has managed all the headaches of living in the spotlight with class. He is a skilled player, and his maturity, skill and intelligence should help him have a long career in the NBA.
