Vans got their start appealing to the laid back and casual taste of California. Their products are a vital piece of skateboarding culture. For over 50 years Vans have been a staple of casual attire with their long list of iconic designs. There are only a handful of sneaker companies that consistently hold their place within the fashion world, and Vans is on that short list.
They never go out of style and because of that they are always available in abundance at Shoe Palace retail locations and on shoepalace.com. Shoe Palace, like Vans, has its roots in California. That connection makes our relationship with Vans organic and comfortable. Our origins and sensibilities perfectly align. Our collaborations with Vans have always been popular and easy to conceive.
About Vans
Brothers Paul Van Doren and Jim Van Doren along with partners Gordon Lee and Serge Delia opened their small shoe company for business in Anaheim, Calif. on March 16, 1966. The Van Doren Rubber Company, which it was then known as, was unique in that it manufactured shoes on the premises and then sold them directly to the public. In the early 70s the name House of Vans was born.
Skateboarding
Skateboarders were drawn to Vans because of their rugged make-up and sticky soles. Vans continued to make an impact in popular culture with the Warped Tour. The Warped Tour is currently the longest running series in America. Vans is easily one of the most influential brand names in the world.
For Everyone
From the bustling streets of New York to the sunny boulevards of California, various individuals have embraced Vans footwear. It is not just skateboarders anymore; musicians, artists, and everyday fashion enthusiasts have all found their unique style encapsulated in a pair of Vans.
Everywhere
The iconic checkerboard slip-ons have graced the stages of rock concerts, made appearances in high-fashion photoshoots, and sauntered through college campuses worldwide. These shoes are no longer just about grinding rails or mastering ollies; they have become a canvas for self-expression.
The Perfect Blend of Style and Comfort
Whether you are on the hunt for the classic slip-on Vans, a pair of durable Vans low tops for those casual outings, or you simply want to experience the diverse offerings at a Vans shop, the brand never fails to impress. Known for their trademark waffle soles, which offer superior grip and padded collars for unmatched comfort, each shoe is a testament to Vans’ commitment to quality.
A Fashion Statement for All
Men, women, kids - everyone finds their perfect fit at the Vans shoe store. And it is not just about shoes. Vans has seamlessly integrated its California roots into a range of apparel that’s both versatile and
trendy. Their clothing echoes the same sentiment of freedom, rebellion, and authenticity that their shoes do.
