The 1998-1999 season was a shortened one due to the NBA lockout. This may have been a factor why the Reebok Answer 2 was an underwhelming release that did not really click with sneaker fans.
The Team DMX Answer Lite was a simpler version of the Reebok Answer 2. Both shoes had "Iverson" written on the front. They also used "DMX Lite" cushioning. During the 1998-1999 season college basketball teams started wearing Allen Iverson signature shoes.
